In short: Renters/Drivers must be at least 21, holds a valid driver’s license and a credit card in their name with sufficient funds.

Renters who choose to decline coverage must provide proof of Liability & Collision Insurance. Simply bring the insurance card you keep in your glove compartment or wallet or a copy of your policy. Some credit cards may offer Rental Car Collision Benefits. Credit Cards DO NOT offer liability.

An acceptable valid driver’s license issued from your state or country of residence must be presented at time of car rental. The driver’s license must be valid for the entire car rental period. If the driver’s license is in a language other than English, an international driver’s permit must be provided along with the driver’s license.

Only the renter is authorized to operate the rental car. No other persons are permitted to operate the rental car without prior approval, and such person or persons must appear at the time of car rental and meet same qualifications as the renter.

Minimum rental age is 21 years old. Trusty Car Rental Inc. will rent to customers’ 21-22 years of age providing they meet the underage qualifications. Underage renters/operators must provide proof of automobile liability insurance on a policy written in their name. Underage drivers are also subject to an extra daily fee of $15 per day.

Ontario residents, get 150-200 free miles per day, 1050-1400 free miles per week. Vehicles are NOT permitted out of the Province of Ontario. Renters must have verifiable home address with corresponding land line phone number.

Trusty Car Rent Inc. accepts major credit cards (Visa and MasterCard). A credit card must be presented at time of rental. We will obtain an authorization “hold” on the renter’s credit card with an amount determined by length and conditions of the car rental agreement (minimum $500 CAD). Prepaid Card are NOT accepted. We DO NOT do cash rentals.

Confirmation Number- Your confirmation number is the number that you are given once your reservation has been confirmed. This number can be used to gain access to your reservation information, including your rates or your rental information once you have picked up the vehicle. Cancellations and No Show – It is our policy to hold reservations for two hours (one hour during peak periods) beyond the scheduled pick up time. Any changes or cancellations of a confirmed reservation should be made 24 hours in advance. If you could arrive on time, give us a call, we will make every effort to honor the reservation. Any adjustments or changes to the reservation may result in a change of rate. We will charge the customer for minimum $50 if he/she cancel the reservation without a notice to us.

International drivers must have valid driver’s license from country of residence with no restrictions, major credit card in renter’s own name must be presented at time of rental.

From time to time our web providers make mistakes. If in the event there is a booking error you will be notified within 48 hours of the booking or 24 hours prior to your pick up via the email address you provide. A reservation is not a guarantee of rate or availability.
